SOURCE SPORTS: Eagles Defense Says ‘Three-Peat’ Talk Fueled Their Strong Play

All the talk of a Kansas City Chiefs three-peat got in the ears of the Philadelphia Eagles defense. In celebration, Eagles players revealed the constant chatter about history fueled their effort.

“That was motivation because it was kind of a slap to us,” Eagles veteran defensive end Brandon Graham said, according to ESPN. “It was like, they ain’t seen us yet. So, we heard that all week. And when the game came, execution was on point and together.”

And that energy was felt on the field as the Eagles limited the Chiefs to a scoreless first half, setting the tone for a dominant 40-22 win.
