SZA’s reign continues as the RIAA awarded her 28 new Gold and Platinum plaques on Saturday (Feb. 8), celebrating career-spanning success. The certifications recognize major hits from CTRL (2017) and SOS (2022), solidifying her impact on R&B.
Among the standout certifications, “Kill Bill,” “Snooze,” and “Love Galore” each hit 8x Platinum, while “Broken Clocks” is now 6x Platinum. “I Hate U” (4x), “Low” (2x), and “Saturn” (2x) also earned new honors.
SZA isn’t done with SOS (Deluxe) just yet. Ahead of the Super Bowl her manager and TDE president, Terrence “Punch” Henderson, took to X to reveal that more songs will be added to the deluxe album Lana. “Additional deluxe joints coming Sunday. LANA,” he wrote, surprising fans with the unexpected announcement.
The news follows the success of SOS and its expanded Lana edition, which already boasts 15 extra tracks. With even more music on the way, SZA continues to deliver for her fans, further solidifying her dominance in R&B. The new songs arrived on Sunday, adding another layer to her acclaimed project.
