NBA 2K25 is leveling up with Season 5, dropping this Friday, February 21, and packed with anime-inspired MyTEAM cards, stylish cosmetics, and fresh rewards across MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The W Online. As the 2024-2025 NBA season nears its end, players can sharpen their skills and climb the Season rewards ladder to prep for the playoffs.
MyCAREER introduces a game-changing Badge Elevator system, now offering a +3 boost to raise badges by three levels. Players can grind for rewards like a Jordan Unbannable MyCOURT Mural at Level 18, a ‘Burnie’ Miami Heat Mascot at Level 20, REC Arm Sleeves with a +15% REP boost at Level 21, and a Superhero outfit at Level 39.
MyTEAM gets a major boost with hand-drawn anime-inspired cards, headlined by Victor Wembanyama at Level 1. Players can also secure a Level 10 Diamond Kelly Oubre Jr., a Level 30 Galaxy Opal Arvydas Sabonis, and the ultimate prize—a Dark Matter Brandon Roy at Level 40. The new Team Heroes Domination mode challenges players to defeat top stars from all 30 teams, with a Galaxy Opal Bob McAdoo reward for those who conquer all 33 matchups and earn 99 stars.
The W Online highlights the excitement of WNBA free agency with themed rewards, including a Seattle Storm Jersey Card, a Minnesota Lynx Say Her Name Jersey, and a Lisa Leslie Coach Card.
For those looking for extra rewards, the Season 5 Pro Pass offers 40 additional tiers, unlocking a Dark Matter Austin Reaves, a Cyber Basketball, a Level 39 Emissive Superhero Outfit, and more.
