Voletta Wallace, the mother of Hip-Hop icon The Notorious B.I.G., passed away at 72.
According to TMZ, Ms. Wallace died Friday morning (Feb. 21) in Stroudsburg, PA. Monroe Country Coroner Thomas Yanac confirmed the death.
Ms. Wallace died in hospice care from natural causes.
In her most recent years, Ms. Wallace oversaw The Notorious B.I.G. estate, ensuring proper property and wealth management for the late rapper’s family. The estate is now worth an estimated $160 million.
