An alarming video out of Chicago shows a Southwest Airlines plane nearly colliding with a private jet on the runway of Midway Airport.
According to CNN, Southwest Flight 2504 landed safely in the city after a go-around to avoid the crash. The incident is now under investigation by the FAA.
The Southwest plane was arriving from Omaha, Nebraska and the private jet, Bombardier Challenger 350, was headed to Knoxville, Tennessee.
“The crew followed safety procedures and the flight landed without incident,” a Southwest spokesperson said in a statement. “Nothing is more important to Southwest than the safety of our customers and employees.”
