Offset Challenges Lil Tjay to Livestream Squabble

Squabble up or nah? Lil Tjay recently posted a series of images on Instagram showcasing his luxury items. The caption accompanying the photos appeared to be a veiled jab at Offset: “I could never be broke like set running off making smoke over lunch money…. ima have ta smoke on a hunnit streams for it get to all that,” he wrote, adding laughing and facepalm emojis. “But yeaaa free smoke tomorrow for [ninja emoji].”

The very public exchange traces back to January, when Lil Tjay alleged that Offset was facing financial difficulties and had a gambling problem during a Twitch stream. “Why I diss Offset? Offset is broke,” he claimed. “I seen the ni**a in the casino. He was popped, he was panicking.” Lil Tjay further asserted that he had lent Offset $5,000 while the rapper was “asking random people for Cash Apps.”

Get this, Lil Tjay also claimed he is owed $10,000 and shared messages where he warned Offset of potential physical repercussions if the debt wasn’t settled. In response, Offset fired back: “Gotta be the wrong nia u texting boy I’ll smoke you […] U barely lived already who tf you think you talking to nia.”

10K? Anyways …

What’s more, outside of his disputes with Lil Tjay, Offset has been caught up in plenty of personal challenges, notably his public separation from wife Cardi B. The couple filed for divorce in September 2020, citing irreconcilable differences, though they reconciled months later. In December 2023, Cardi B announced their separation once more, and in August 2024, she filed for divorce again, seeking primary custody of their three children. Offset has since been involved in public incidents, including a performance in Russia despite his label’s boycott.  Cardi B has also been seen spending time with other individuals, such as Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs, following their split.
