Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Netflix have announced that reigning undisputed super featherweight champion Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner (15-1, 7 KOs) will take on undefeated WBA Interim world champion Jennifer Miranda (12-0, 1 KO) in a co-main event. The bout will be part of the highly anticipated Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 trilogy, marking the first all-women’s professional boxing card at Madison Square Garden.
Scheduled for Friday, July 11, the event will stream live globally on Netflix at no extra cost to its 300+ million subscribers. Baumgardner will defend her undisputed title against Miranda in a 10-round championship fight at 130 lbs.
Baumgardner, known for her power and precision, has established herself as one of boxing’s brightest stars. Since turning professional in 2017, she has claimed multiple world titles, including the WBC, IBO, WBO, IBF, and WBA belts. After avenging her sole career loss in 2023, she remains undefeated as an undisputed champion.
Miranda, ranked #3 featherweight globally by Boxrec, is also an accomplished actress known for her role in Money Heist. The Spanish champion made history as the first woman to defend the Spanish national title and recently claimed the WBA Interim title. Trained in Madrid, she balances her athletic career with her academic pursuits, holding multiple degrees.
Fans can catch both fighters at the Taylor vs. Serrano 3 kickoff press conference on April 9 at Madison Square Garden. Presale tickets will be available from April 8, with general sales beginning the next day.
