BSE Global has announced the second phase of a multi-year, $100 million renovation plan to enhance the guest experience at Barclays Center. Following successful upgrades like The Toki Row and JetBlue at The Key, the next phase will include Gallagher Terrace and The Bridge, transforming the arena’s west end.
Gallagher Terrace, a 5,300 square-foot premium membership club, will offer in-seat dining with waiter service—the only such experience at the arena. Designed to capture the ambiance of Brooklyn’s Gilded Age, the space will feature banquette seating, dynamic LED lighting, a private VIP entrance, and a full-service bar. The club is part of a new multi-year partnership with Gallagher, a global insurance and risk management firm.
“We are thrilled to enter phase two of our five-year arena renovation plan at Barclays Center, a significant leap forward in enhancing the overall guest experience for all ticket holders,” said Shanon Ferguson, Chief Hospitality Officer at BSE Global, parent company of Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty. “We are committed to continuously setting new standards in hospitality for our guests, creating more immersive, comfortable, and elevated experiences for all and ensuring every visit to Barclays Center is unforgettable, regardless of seat location.”
“The new Gallagher Terrace at Barclays Center is just part of the investment Gallagher is making in the New York community,” said Christopher Mead, Chief Marketing Officer at Gallagher. “We believe in investing in the spaces where we live, work and play. We look forward to increasing Gallagher’s presence over time in the New York market to better connect with our partners, their fans and the community.”
The Bridge, a two-level, 6,800 square-foot fan zone, will offer communal spaces to gather, eat, and drink while enjoying unobstructed views of the court. Featuring a 63-foot bar—the arena’s largest—the space will also host in-game entertainment. Inspired by Brooklyn’s iconic bridges, it will include standing-room platform decks and retail areas for merchandise during events.
Construction will begin after the 2024-25 Brooklyn Nets season and finish before the 2025-26 NBA season, without affecting the New York Liberty’s schedule. Membership deposits for Gallagher Terrace are now being accepted, and more details are available at barclayscenter.com/premium.
