Bow Wow has addressed the current state of his relationship with former friend and frequent collaborator Omarion, revealing that while there’s no outright feud, their once-close bond has faded.
During a recent appearance on Funky Friday with Cam Newton, the rapper shared his thoughts on where things stand between them.
“It’s complicated. I don’t want to talk (to him),” Bow Wow admitted. “It’s nothing to talk about, not even in a bad way.” Though he didn’t specify what caused the distance between them, he hinted at past attempts to reconcile. “It’s just when you lend your hand out and you try to be the bigger person—and try to rap—but you get no response you go, ‘OK we’ll leave it right here.’ You do your thing, I do my thing, it ain’t no beef.”
Get this, despite the lack of communication, Bow Wow made it clear he holds no ill will toward Omarion. “We’ve been through this thing for so long,” he said. “He’s 40 and I’m 38. We don’t have to do that now. We got kids, we got our own lives. I wish you nothing but the best. The best revenge is time, you don’t even gotta do much.”
Check out the eye-spying by fans. They first noticed tension between the two earlier this year when Bow Wow responded cryptically to questions about their relationship. When one follower suggested he reach out to Omarion, he replied, “No, we don’t.” Another fan asked about the Millenium Tour, which was originally set to feature both artists alongside Trey Songz, to which Bow Wow simply responded, “What tour?”
