There’s a new player stepping into the game—RMG PRODUCTIONS LLC, a fresh-faced production company based in New York City, is coming out the gate strong with the release of LilCadiPGE’s latest visual, “Long Distance.” Helmed by founder Ray McNeal, RMG is already proving it’s not here to follow trends—it’s here to set them.
McNeal, who grew up inspired by the hip hop culture, built RMG from the ground up with a mission to create visuals that not only look good but feel real. “This company is about raw creativity and staying true to the culture,” he says. “I wanted to create something that bridges storytelling and street energy in a way that hits different.”
And hit it does. “Long Distance”—the first official release under the RMG banner—features West Coast artist LilCadiPGE, a rising voice from the Crenshaw District of Los Angeles. The video, directed by Blu, was shot entirely in L.A. and explores themes of loyalty, love, and chasing success while staying rooted in one’s community. From the cinematic framing to the subtle storytelling, every frame feels intentional.
LilCadiPGE is no stranger to impactful moments. Early in his career, he dropped a freestyle over Nipsey Hussle’s “Status Symbol” off the Mail Box Money mixtape. That raw performance resonated with fans and earned him respect amongst those who understood what it meant to be stamped and approved by Nipsey Hussle.
On the set of “Long Distance,” that same authenticity carried through. “Working with Blu was seamless,” says LilCadiPGE. “We really locked in. Every shot felt like a reflection of my story—and that’s what I’m always chasing, making sure it’s real.”
The chemistry between artist and director sets the tone for what’s to come. RMG is already building momentum with several projects in development and a clear vision to push creative boundaries while staying grounded in the culture.
