Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing legal troubles are deepening, as prosecutors have now introduced a fifth alleged victim in the federal sex trafficking and RICO case against the hip-hop mogul.
The existence of this new accuser, referred to as “Victim 5,” was quietly mentioned in legal documents filed last month. However, during a court hearing on Friday, the public learned that this individual would not be granted anonymity, as Judge Arun Subramanian ruled against protecting their identity.
Although the identity of Victim 5 has not been disclosed yet, the judge’s ruling means that it could soon change. Prosecutors are introducing this testimony as evidence of past alleged sexual misconduct committed by Diddy—misconduct that is not included in the charges for this specific case. Despite attempts by Diddy’s legal team to keep the claims out of court, the judge has agreed to allow at least parts of Victim 5’s account to be presented.
This latest development follows concerns around the participation of another alleged victim. Victim 3, who was previously expected to testify, may not appear in court even though she has been subpoenaed.
Currently, prosecutors have identified four other women in the case:
Victim 1 is widely understood to be Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s former girlfriend, whose civil lawsuit against him was settled late last year.
Victim 2 plans to testify anonymously. According to court filings, she will speak about financial dependency, emotional isolation, and manipulation she experienced during her relationship with Diddy—factors that the prosecution claims made her more susceptible to coercion.
Victim 3’s attendance remains uncertain.
Victim 4 is described as a former employee of Bad Boy Entertainment who was allegedly coerced into sexual acts.
The introduction of a fifth alleged victim signals the prosecution’s intent to show a pattern of behavior in its case against Combs, even though some of these claims are not tied to criminal charges in this particular trial.
Diddy has denied all allegations, and his legal team continues to challenge the admissibility of the new testimonies and any unrelated past claims. As the case unfolds, the involvement of new witnesses may significantly impact the trajectory and tone of the proceedings.
