Cassie Recalls Diddy’s Overdose At The Playboy Mansion In 2012 During Cross-Examination

During a pivotal moment in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial, singer Cassie Ventura offered startling testimony under cross-examination, recounting a 2012 incident in which the music mogul reportedly overdosed at the Playboy Mansion following a party.

The episode took place in February of that year, a timeframe that Cassie connected to the death of Whitney Houston. “Was that around the time Whitney Houston died? I believe so,” she said, according to Complex. “That evening we had a ‘freak-off.’ We went to a sex club in San Bernardino. And then he had a party at the Playboy Mansion that night, and I went home.”

She continued, detailing what Diddy later told her, “From what [Diddy] told me, he took a really strong opioid that night, but we didn’t know what happened. So, we took him to the hospital.”

When asked whether she and Combs struggled with painkiller addiction during their relationship, Ventura responded candidly, “Very much so.”

In addition to her testimony about the overdose, Ventura was asked to identify herself and others in a series of explicit images and video footage shown to jurors—allegedly taken during various so-called “freak-offs.” In describing one image, she testified, “There is baby oil on me. I am standing there during a ‘freak-off’ with a candle and lubricant on the table.”

One of the individuals shown in the media presented was Johnathan Oddi, who previously claimed in a 2018 interview that he was Combs’ “sex slave.”

The federal trial, which has drawn national attention, continues as prosecutors present their case and defense attorneys work to undermine Ventura’s credibility amid her disturbing and detailed recollections.
