The Bronx-bred emcee recently opened up during a candid X Spaces chat, revealing just how emotionally exhausted she became in the final chapter of her relationship with Offset. She didn’t hold back, offering a raw account of what was going on behind the scenes.
“I don’t think people understand how tired I was … I was mentally drained. Couldn’t eat—I was getting frequent headaches. I was literally losing my mind. I gave [him] chances after chances.”

“If I was still there, I was gonna end up going to jail. Cause I was gonna end up killing him, seriously, with my own bare hands. It was just getting too much.”

ICYMI, since their split, Cardi has started stepping into a new chapter that’s already making headlines. Recently, footage surfaced of her and NFL star Stefon Diggs looking cozy on a yacht. In one viral clip, she dances seductively while Diggs gives her a playful smack.
Offset, clearly unbothered or playing it cool, took to social media after the footage hit the Gram with a cryptic response that read, “Good roll out n PR.”
The often-ugly divorce proceedings between Cardi and Offset kicked off last year, shortly before their third child was born. Offset is seeking spousal support but hasn’t disclosed a specific amount. He also wants joint custody of their children and has requested that Cardi’s home be the primary residence for the children. Both are also requesting to split up their assets and pay their own legal bills.
