Brooklyn Nets Announce Return of Practice in the Park at Bed-Stuy’s Potomac Playground

The Brooklyn Nets will return to Brooklyn’s Potomac Playground in Bed-Stuy for their annual Practice in the Park, presented by Ticketmaster, on Saturday, Sept. 27. Fans can claim complimentary tickets online now to watch the Nets take the court for drills and preparation ahead of the upcoming season.

The free event begins at noon and promises a day full of basketball, community pride, and family-friendly fun. Highlights include the Gersh Park vs. Zone 6 Park matchup, bringing two of Brooklyn’s most respected leagues together for a high-intensity game, and the Type.Set.Brooklyn Celebrity Game featuring local influencers and personalities.

Fans can also take part in the Brooklyn Basketball combine, with skill stations led by Nets and Liberty clinicians. Representatives will be available to share details on the new youth basketball training center opening this month across from Barclays Center.

The Vendor Village will showcase local businesses, artists, and organizations with barbershop pop-ups, charm bars, face painting, and more, along with merchandise giveaways, contests, and games.

The Nets remain dedicated to strengthening ties with the community through initiatives focused on basketball, education, and neighborhood engagement. Last year’s Practice in the Park drew thousands to Potomac Playground, cementing the event as a Brooklyn tradition.
