Bad Bunny Explains Why His Next World Tour Leaves Out The United States

Bad Bunny is once again in the spotlight but not for his chart topping albums or viral streams. The Puerto Rican superstar just revealed why the United States will not be part of his Debi Tirar Mas Fotos World Tour that stretches across 2025 and 2026. In a recent sit down with i D, he admitted that concerns about immigration authorities played a major role.

“There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate,” Bad Bunny said. “I’ve performed there many times. All of [the shows] have been successful. All of them have been magnificent.” While reflecting on those moments, he also shared a worry that shadowed his team’s planning. “Like, f***ing ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about,” he added.

Although U.S. cities are not on the itinerary, Bad Bunny insists American fans are not being abandoned. Puerto Rico will be a major stop and he pointed out that fans can make the trip to experience the shows. “People from the U.S. could come here to see the show,” he explained. “Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here, or to any part of the world.”

By centering Puerto Rico, he is not only making his island the cultural heart of the tour but also affirming it as a destination for global fans. This perspective lines up with his earlier comments in Variety where he described U.S. stops as feeling “unnecessary” after years of consistent touring.

With dates locked in across Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, Bad Bunny’s move shifts the energy toward regions that often do not get the same spotlight from global icons. It is both a statement and an invitation for fans to follow him beyond the usual arenas.
