Wayne “Stay High 149” Roberts, one of the pioneers of NYC graffiti, passed away on Monday from complications of liver disease. He was 61 years old.

Stay High was known for his numerous tags which could be seen in all five boros, above or below ground. The icon of the Graf movement made his “saint” glyph a staple of graf and can even be seen in motion in hip hop videos such as ATCQ’s “Can I Kick It?”
