Rapper Jay Z ‘Made in America’ was recently picked up by Phase 4 Films, acquiring the North American rights, resulting in a theatre release date for Summer 2014.
The documentary shows the behind the scenes action of the making of the grandiose music festival that takes place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during Labor Day weekend in September. This year’s musicals guests included Rita Ora, Janelle Monae, and wife, Beyonce.
The Ron Howard directed film aired on Showtime back in October and premiered during Toronto Sundance Film Festival.
