While other audio companies are pumping out special headphones for every conceivable activity leaving consumers in potential web of cords and earplugs, Sol Republic has decided simple is better and launched their first “cross-over” in-ear headphone. The Relay, announced at CES, is designed for users who travel, workout, play sports and don’t want to buy a pair of headphones for each activity.
The Relays utilize Sol Republic’s FreeFlex technology which allows for a universal fit that stays put regardless of activity and intensity via an adjustable ring around the ear tip. Water and sweat resistant, they also provide amazingly balanced sound from Sol Republic’s new i5 Sound Engine. They are currently available for $79.99 at Verizon and will be available Nationwide in February.
