Remember this guy? Touted as the next straight-from-high-school-to-the-NBA star, a la Lebron James, Telfair largely disappointed as an NBA player, and found himself in headlines for several on-court and off-court reasons. In 2006, Telfair tried to board a plane with a loaded firearm in his luggage, and in 2007, at a traffic checkpoint, Telfair was caught with a loaded firearm in his car.
