GILBERT ARENAS & JAVARIS CRITTENTON
This may be the most infamous incident of firearms among NBA players, and possibly the most ironic. According to Gilbert Arenas, the reason he brought four guns to the Washington Wizards’ locker room was to get them out of the house and away from his children, but how they ended up out in the open directed at his teammate, Javaris Crittenton, in what was supposed to be a “practical” joke is beyond me. The irony in the situation is, in retaliation, Crittenton then produced a gun of his own! This may very well be the most bizarre locker room story in the history of the league.
