Amber Rose the actress?
Congratulations are in order for model Amber Rose as she lands her very first tv gig on the upcoming ABC sitcom, Selfie. The pilot is based on My Fair Lady about a woman who is obsessed with the Internet and becomes social media famous after an embarrassing breakup video goes viral. On the show, she plays “Fit Brit”.
Rose, who is no stranger to acting, she also starred in movies like Gang Of Roses 2 and the new movie School Dance. This would be a piece of cake for her because besides she is known to take selfies and post them on her social media accounts. She recently made an appearance at the BET Awards with her friend and stylist Emily B.
Here is what she said about her good news:
“I’m so excited. I start shooting in August.”
The show is slated to make it’s debut in the the fall lineup, no word yet on when the show premieres.
