The petty war continues
Tyga and Drake‘s feud has been well-documented and publicized over the past month, following an interview in which Tyga said he feels as if Drake is “fake,” and that he feels relationships with him and Nicki Minaj were forced together because Lil Wayne signed them to the same label, YMCMB. Since then, Drake hasn’t publicly spoke about or to Tyga, subliminal social media maneuvers on Drake’s part–posting a picture of Kylie Jenner, Tyga’s rumored current girlfriend, on the sit of his and Partynextdoor‘s “Recognize” video and liking Tyga’s ex-girlfriend’s pictures in bulk–speak to the fact that Drake is very aware of Tyga’s comments, and plans on trolling him for the foreseeable future. That being said, it appears Tyga is very ready to go back and forth with him.
According to TMZ, the girl Tyga is shooting his new music video for “Make It Work” with is Drake’s ex-girlfirend, Dollicia Bryan.
If you remember, when “Make It Work” was released, the biggest question was whether or not the following lines,
N**** never was my homie, all these b****** know you corny
were about Drake. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out. So far, it appears to be just a lot of jostling for ex (or current) flames, not so much rapping. “Make It Work” will appear on Tyga’s new album, Gold Album: The 18th Dynasty, executive produced by Kanye West, has a new release date of December 23rd. Drake’s Views From The 6 is expected out in 2015.
