A petition that as amassed over 60,000 signatures on Change.org is asking Glastonbury officials to cancel Kanye’s set in favor of a rock band to replace him instead. Here’s what the petition, started by British music fan Neil Lonsdale, says:

Kanye West is an insult to music fans all over the world. We spend hundreds of pounds to attend Glasto, and by doing so, expect a certain level of entertainment. Kanye has been very outspoken on his views on music. He should listen to his own advice and pass his headline slot on to someone deserving! Lets prevent this musical injustice now!

This isn’t the first time Glastonbury festival-goers have protested a Hip-Hop headliner. In 2008, fans made a fuss about Jay Z headlining the festival, not to mention Oasis front-man Noel Gallagher‘s involvement. His statement on Hov headlining “Glasto” went as follows:

“I’m not having Hip-Hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong.” Still, that didn’t stopped Jay from performing. In fact, he opened his set with a cover of Oasis’ “Wonderwall” to show just how much he cared about Gallagher’s opnion. Now, considering how Kanye feels baout his big brother, he is definitely going to preform.

Expect the performance of a lifetime. Kanye takes this festival sh*t seriously.

Man c’mon can’t they get a much more influential performer that’s not about their self?! Kanye is getting to be old news!
