New York-based duo Lion Babe released their first official single produced by Pharrell Williams, and it’s out now!
Singer/songwriter and performance artist Jillian Hervey and producer Lucas Goodman put this track out in front of their as-of-yet untitled debut album. They’ve worked with the likes of Childish Gambino in the sat on the single “Jump Hi,” and their eclectic and distinctive sound mixed with Pharrell’s Neptunes-like production makes for a potent combination here, calling to mind A Tribe Called Quest, Sergeant Pepper’s-era Beatles, and N.E.R.D.
