Three world premieres to celebrate a big OVO day
Drake, OVO capo Oliver El-Khatib and the affiliated Eric Dingus took to Apple Music’s airwaves today to bring the world the inaugural episode of OVO Sound Radio: Drake and company’s show on Beats Radio 1. Earlier in the week, Drizzy teased that there would be some exclusives dropping on the show, and today he certainly followed through. No solo records, but three brand new bangers–two of them remixes–from some slightly unfamiliar faces were made available today. Drake’s rumored remix of regionally popular Toronto crooner RamRiddlz, “Sweeterman,” WizKid‘s remix of his buzzing single, “Ojuelegba”–which also features Skepta–and a new record from Roy Woods, featuring Drizzy, were all liberated via OVO Sound Radio today.
We all know the power of a Drake co-sign, be it via a feature or a remix, especially when it comes to newer, younger artists. These three, RamRiddlz and Roy Woods–Toronto’s underground standouts–and WizKid, a Nigerian upstart, are all about to find out for themselves. Listen to all three records below.
