Amber Rose is working her way in as the new face of feminism.
In 2015 alone, the socialite released her women’s empowerment guide, How To Be A Bad Bitch, organized one of the most controversial events of the year, the Slut Walk (to defend all women who’ve been slut-shamed) and she’s now channeling some of America’s most famous feminists on the new cover of Paper magazine.
For the publication’s “Fandemonium” issue, Amber pays tribute to iconic women like Rosie the Riveter, Susan B. Anthony, Gloria Steinem, and Dorothy Pitman Hughes.
Rose’s recent acts have stirred up heavy conversation about femininity, and she’s encouraging women to embrace their freedom of speech on the topic (not to mention their sexuality).
Rose explains her ultimate goal as, “All of us as women, let’s just stick together and look out for each other. I was really glad that my Slut Walk was extremely diverse. There were all types of women from all walks of life there… That would be the main thing for me… really just try to take the racism out of feminism for our generation.”
