Last February, during an emotional show that involved Jay Z finally granting J. Cole his Roc-A-Fella “chaining day” moment, the Dreamville head honcho announced his collective’s deal with Interscope Records, and promptly released the project, featuring new music from himself, Bas, Omen and every member of the team. Since then, Cole and his manager Ibrahim have added California wordsmith Cozz to the fold, and have released Bas’ major label debut, Last Winter, to many rave reviews.

Now that Cole has finished touring the world in support of his platinum-selling 2014 Forest Hills Drive album and Bas has announced his follow-up to Last Winter, Too High To Riot, it looks like Cole wants to come out swinging at the top of the year. Last night, he and his Dreamville artists all cryptically tweeted the same phone number that appears on the cover art for Revenge of the Dreamers, 1-888-88-DREAM, which, naturally, fans rushed to call. A couple got through, including this young lady.

Chances are this means that Revenge of the Dreamers 2 is on the way, and if you think back to the final line of Cole’s “Alright” Black Friday remix, we may already have a release month.
