During his live performance in Sydney, Australia, YouTube sensation Troye Sivan had a water bottle thrown at him while on stage, hitting him in the face.
On Wednesday at the Enmore Theater, a raucous crowd were screaming for the 20 year old singer before someone in the crowd launched a bottle at Sivan, striking him in the face. In the most classy manner, Sivan shook off the offensive gesture and continued his performance like a true entertainer.
Sivan took to Twitter to respond to the disrespectful act at his show, saying wasn’t going to let it damper his show.
“I didn’t want to make a scene, but it 100% hit me in the face, but I didn’t really fel it bc adrenaline so that’s good..”
Sivan has just had two shows in Perth and Sydney, with a North American tour scheduled for February and March.
