When it rains, it pours. With his latest mixtape, Purple Reign. having barely had time to sink in, merely two days following its release, Future appears to be hinting at leaking yet another new project – much to the gloom, assuredly, of his competition still trying to grab their umbrellas and weather the storm.
“Ain done yet ☔️ pre warm up…get ready,” tweeted the ubiquitous Atlanta rapper on Tuesday evening, perhaps alluding to an imminent release of Ape Sh!t with Mike Will Made-It, Beast Mode 2, Monster 2, or any other one of his reported eight or more projects – at least six albums and two mixtapes – still in the vault according to claims made by one of his go-to producers, Southside, during an interview back in August of 2015.
In the meantime, we can – at the very least it seems – look forward to catching Future perform live during his nationwide “Purple Reign” tour with special guest Ty Dolla $ign, which kicks off on February 17 in Madison, Wisconsin and travels to a combined 22 cities, coming to a close on March 19 in San Jose, California.
