The professionally laid back entity of Supreme was thrust into a limelight operated by a rabidly excited pack of fashion consumers. One of the major highlights of community sneaker conventions during the year was experiencing a packed room full of shoe connoisseurs rabidly perusing rows and rows of footwear, all with goals of locating the coveted Supreme Nike SB Bruin. The audience that the brand spoke to positively ate up Nike’s precedent setting revolutionary 1972 low top shoe. At the time of its inception, the Bruin was enthusiastically attached to the game of basketball yet transcended its on court caging. Interestingly enoughSupreme was initially linked simply with skateboarding.
