There’s certainly a legitimate buzz surrounding Brooklyn rapper Desiigner, especially since he was featured twice on Kanye West‘s new album, The Life of Pablo, and signed to G.O.O.D. Music, a move that was announced at ‘Ye’s Yeezy Season 3 reveal at Madison Square Garden.
Part of that buzz however, has less to do with “Panda” itself than it does the rapper whose music “Panda” appears to emulate. Future, who has released no less than 3 albums and 4 mixtapes in the last 17 months, helped drill home the slurred and erratic delivery that Desiigner’s “Panda” is anchored in, and comparisons between the two haven’t ceased since “Panda”‘s popularity soared last month. Future has yet to officially comment, but allow this brief video of him in the club while “Panda” blares from the speakers to hold you over. At least until we get another tea sip moment.
