Drake has scored his first number one single in the UK as a lead artist. The track “One Dance,” which remixes Crazy Cousinz and Kyla 2008 hit, has been well received in the UK as well as globally.

The OVO label boss version, which also features Kyla as well as Wiz Kid, topped the official singles chart yesterday [April 15] and grabbed the top spot, beating Sia‘s “Cheap Thrills” and Mike Posner‘s “I Took A Pill In Ibiza.”

Although he previously topped the chart with Rihanna in 2011, when the pair collaborated on “What’s My Name,” Drake’s last best position in the charts was when he reached number three for “Hotline Bling” last year.

It continues to be a good week for Drake, as he also became the most streamed artist on Spotify’s Playstation music. They stated that “users have streamed over five billion songs on the platform while gaming.” Drake came out top as the most streamed artist in the United States, followed by other big names such as Eminem, Justin Bieber and the Weeknd.
