Following the debut of Beyoncé’s most recent album, Lemonade, there were rumors she and husband JAY Z would be releasing an album together. According to Page Six, those rumors have been confirmed and we can all look forward to possibly getting long awaited answers to the many questions that came about from Bey’s recent album.
It came as no surprise the Houston native incorporated controversial content within her music, and even targeted the on-going issue of the mistreatment towards the Black community by law enforcement. That was only one issue she addressed, as she also referenced a “Becky with the good hair,” an infamous quote from the hit single “Sorry” alluding to possible infidelity within her relationship.
The power couple’s upcoming album won’t be the first project they’ve teamed up for, although it will be the first time they’ve released an entire album together.
The album is expected to drop soon on Jay’s music streaming service TIDAL and there has been no reported album title as of yet.
