The cast of Martin, one of TV’s most classic television series, reunited in a bittersweet photo at Thomas Ford, former cast mate’s Homegoing service.
On Wednesday evening (Oct. 19,) Tisha Campbell-Martin, Carl Payne Jr., and Tichina Arnold, who played Ford’s friends Gina, Cole and Pam on the FOX sitcom, snapped a sentimental photo. Arnold posted the picture on her Instagram, with the caption:
“Today was not easy, but by the grace of God we all got through it. Words cannot express our gratitude for all of your prayers, positive thoughts and support throughout the years. Tommy will be missed but most certainly never forgotten.”
Ford died at the age of 52 last Wednesday after suffering a ruptured aneurysm in his stomach. He was taken off of life support in an Atlanta hospital.
Martin Lawrence, who tweeted,
“We were friends way b4 the Martin show & showed tru friendship on screen. You brought a lot of love 2 the world & you’ll be greatly missed,”
was in attendance at his funeral, but wasn’t in the cast picture, according to Arnold who concluded her Instagram post caption with,
“And PLEASE don’t ask “Where’s Martin?..” he was there too…just not in the picture. Lol! God bless you all.”
