Apparently Lil Wayne was unhappy about his notorious anti-Black Lives Matter rant that aired on ABC’s Nightline.
His camp attempted to contact the network to pull the plug on the interview, however ABC never responded. TMZ reported that Wayne was on edge because the questions weren’t pre-approved and the interviewer, Linsey Davis asked a question about his daughter. He then blasted the social movement a few minutes later.
According to ABC, “when it came to the questions and the topics of the interview nothing was off limits.” Wayne was furious and fired his publicist as a result.
