The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club announced several promo events to highlight the diversity of the city of Atlanta. On March 13 it will also include a live performance by Kap G. The events will take place before the team’s second annual Unity Game on march 15 against the Charlotte Hornets.
Kap G will also be contributing with an upcoming performance as part of the team’s in-game concert series. The College Park, Georgia, born artist, who scored a gold-certified single with his song “Girlfriend”, will perform during the diverse event series leading to the second annual unity game.
Known for rapping about his Mexican heritage, Kap G’s performance supports the National Basketball Association’s “Noches Éne-Bé-A” initiative, celebrating NBA fans and players across Latin America and U.S. Latins communities. That night the in-arena Hawks Shop and HawksShop.com will offer co-branded Kap G merchandise for sale as well. It will be a limited-edition “It’s a Marvelous Day” themed T-shirt. “It’s a Marvelous Day” is Kap G’s latest single from his new EP Mood.
