Back in March of this year, Jacquees found himself in trouble with the law in Miami. The Cash Money artist was pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt, which led to an arrest for failure to obey a lawful command and the seat belt issue. All of those charges are now out the window, TMZ reports.
The court date for Jacquees was on Tuesday (July 31) and only one of the seven officers showed in court and ultimately charges were dropped. Lawyers Nina Tarafa and Ricardo Corono were glad the situation was resolved and justice was served.
Arrest footage was released online showing Jacquees being unproperly handled when he didn’t show any signs of resistance. Additional body camera footage from inside jail was also released and show Jacquees’ speaking on his bond. Thankfully, all Miami issues are now behind him.
