Billboard reports not only has he matched the run from Usher but he is only one week shy of tying him for the most weeks at number one in a single year. Usher achieved his 28-week run in the year 2004. With “In My Feelings” holding steady at number one it appears its a when more than an if, that Drake achieves the goal.

The run for Drake was assisted by “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What.” With two more weeks at the number one spot for “In My Feelings,” Drake would supplant Usher and hold the record all on his own. Let’s see if the summer has enough legs in it to carry Drizzy across the finish line.
