For those that remember adidas’ 2016 Summer Olympics-inspired “Medal Pack,” The Three Stripes is bringing back one of the standouts from the set as a standalone release for Fall 2018.
The “Gold Medal” Ultra Boost incorporates the metallic hue to near perfection, balanced out with great precision with an all-black Primeknit upper that also includes hints of grey speckled throughout. The only stark change in colorway is with the classic white Boost midsole, which extends to the outsole that’s joined by a perforated Continental rubber outsole as well. If you missed out two years ago when these first came around, go for the gold again as this could be your last chance to cop at retail value for a while.
