Yesterday marked eight years since the release of 50 Cent’s sophomore album The Massacre. The 21-track album featured some of 50’s biggest hits of his career, including the Mobb Deep-assisted “Outta Control,” collaboration with Olivia “Candy Shop,” club smash “Disco Inferno,” and the seductive single “Just A Lil Bit.” Just last month, 50 had hip-hop fans time-traveling back to 2003 when he released Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ as album turned 10 years old. The praise for the former G-Unit leader reminded us just how important he was to the rap game and inspired us to do something special.
50 has been cooking up in the studio lately, dropping singles boasting guest features from the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Young Jeezy while gearing up to release his upcoming album, Street King Immortal. Being that there’s new music on the way and the 10-year anniversary of his classic debut Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ just passed, plus the 8-year mark of it’s follow-up, The Source linked up with DJ Spintelect to provide a mix of the Queens MC’s best tracks of all time. Spin hooked it up with another dope mix, as usual, full of everyone’s favorite 50 verses. Consider it a gift from us to you! Stream and download after the jump. Enjoy…
