Felicia The Goat gets yanked off the air after people claimed they were offended by the commercial.

Companies are beginning to take notice of the risks behind enlisting celebrities for their ad campaigns. Recently, Rick Ross lost millions when Reebok dropped him and Lil Wayne caught some heat from Mountain Dew executives for his Emmitt Till lyric. PepsiCo, the parent company decided to take the third installment of their Tyler inspired commercials for portraying racial stereotypes and dismissing violence toward women.

In this version, Felicia the Goat appears in a police lineup in the middle of five black men, one happens to be Odd Future comrade Left Brain. The goat is lined up with the “suspects” and intimidates the beaten and bruised waitress, making a few threats which included “better not snitch on a player” and “snitches get stiches” before she fearfully tells police she cannot identify the person in question then leaves.

A statement issued by PepsiCo explained:
“We apologize for this video and take full responsibility. We have removed it from all Mountain Dew channels and Tyler is removing it from his channels as well.”

The internet works in mysterious ways. The commercial is hosted on Youtube under the name “The Most Racist Mountain Dew Commercial Ever.” The phrase was penned by Dr. Boyce Watkins, who is coming at Mountain Dew with a full arsenal. Dr. Watkins has choice words for the beverage company. What do you think? Let us know your thoughts.

Tyler has yet to give his opinion on the issue at hand, stay tuned for more.
