The Source – Would you rather be drafted to a contender or be part of a successful rebuilding process of a team?

SF – Either team is good with me. Since I’ve been playing football other than high school we’ve been the underdog going in to every game so I know what it feels like. And in high school we won every game so I know what it feels like to be on top. I mean either way it’s an adjustment it’s all about getting your team together, becoming a unit and that’s a major thing in winning football games.

The Source – What would be an ideal rookie season for you?

SF – I’m shooting to take home the (defensive) Rookie Of The Year Award

The Source – No specific stats?

SF – No specific stats, if I get the Rookie Of The Year Award my play will speak for itself.

The Source – You don’t get to thank anyone on stage at the draft. Who are some people you would thank if you had the chance?

SF – My grandmother, I’d thank her because she had a tough life growing up and she raised me, my brother, and my sister the best she could. She always wanted more for us and she couldn’t do it and now I got a chance to help her instead of her help me and to see her happy is all I really need right now.

The Source – Have you gotten any advice from NFL players or coaches so far?

SF – I sat down not too long ago with Warren Sapp. His main thing he was telling me is what ever it is in this game that you love, find it and make it your own. Meaning put your twist on your pass rush move, put your twist on how you play the run game, no matter what it is make it your own.

The Source – It used to be any given Saturday now it’s any given Sunday what will you be listening to in your headphones during the pre game?

SF – (Laughs) I don’t know I kind of just keep up with the music as it comes out. I know before games this season on Saturdays I listened to “Mind Of A Manic” and “Swag That No One Got” by Lil Boosie.

The Source – When you get on stage and see Roger Goodell what are you going to give him? A hug, handshake, or dap?

SF – I’m going to give him a handshake (laughs)
