J. Cole is prepping fans for his album after last night’s listening party with the release of the anticipated single “Let Nas Down.”
The St. Johns University graduate raps candidly about disappointing Queens native, Nas with his first single “Work Out.”

“Dion called me when it dropped, sounded sound but sincere/Told me Nas heard your single and he hate that shit/Said you the one, yo why you make that shit?/I can’t believe I let Nas down,” J. Cole spat.
Speaking of Nas, his sneaker store in Las Vegas is to open sometime this year.
As for Cole, his sophomore album Born Sinner is out on June 18.
