Could the mysterious rapper be ready to release new music?
Andre 3000 has kept fans waiting for a full solo project since The Love Below. In fact, aside for a few features and a picture of his upcoming Jimi Hendrix biopic, he has been pretty mysterious and silent. However, on Saturday–backstage of a Lil Wayne, T.I., and 2 Chainz concert–he must have been in a giving mood.
According to Stephen Hill, the president of programming at B.E.T., Andre 3000 is gearing up to release his debut solo project early next year. The emcee stated it nonchalantly, as if it wasn’t going to shock his fans–of course it is.

Don’t get too excited though. Unfortunately a representative told Billboard Magazine: “Regarding reports of a specific plan to release an album in early 2014, there is no official confirmation on that report.” This means, that right now we don’t know if the album is just a rumor or actually in the works. Hopefully its the latter.
