2 Live Crew-Reunion tour 2012
The now infamous 2 Live Crew, who were once called obscene and now looked upon as legends by many, hadn’t released music since the early 90’s. In 2012, the group came back together to go on a summer reunion tour, certainly raising each cities freaky level to higher levels. It is impressive their music has remained popular, given all of the controversy that surrounded them. Although it isn’t like they have necessarily shied away from it though, just last year Luther Campbell released a short film entitled “The Life and Freaky Times of Uncle Luke.” They know their market and how they are looked at, and seem to bask in it.
