Meek Mill was one of the chosen few emcees to be targeted by Kendrick Lamar in his “Control” verse. Like most of those named, he hasn’t released a response yet, but that might change very soon. Today, Cassidy has incurred the wrath of his fellow Philadelphia rapper.
Mill premiered a five minute diss track, dedicated to Cassidy, this afternoon. Going through a number of classic beats, Mill takes down his adversary. Using everything in his arsenal: questioning his authenticity, Cassidy’s connection to Philadelphia’s street, boasting about his success and the lack of success coming at him will do his foes.
The title promises a response to Kendrick, something that we are excited to hear. Hopefully, after he stands up, other mentioned emcees will take his lead. Hear the record down below.
