Battle Rap’s Top 5 Dark Horses

2. Ill Will

Ill Will had the best performance of Summer Madness 3, which is funny because he was the one contender at the event whose presence on the card was questioned the most.  The crowd was tired and not having any filler or weak bars at that point in the event but Will’s performance woke everyone up. Will brings freestyle back into the battle game. His freestyles are almost imperceptible in their complexity. Doubtful anyone would have guessed Will would have won the Ultimate Freestyle Friday competition on BET, or that he would have had the battle of the night at SM3 After his SM3 performance drops, it will interesting to see whether Will can still be considered an underdog since his performance outshined even the most seasoned vets.
