EGHCK! That Dame Dash reference is killer. The Rap Genius annotation does perfect job connecting all the dots, but I have a few harebrained theories about these bars. First, I think that Jay Z dropped the hyphen in his name (nee Jay-Z) as a preemptive strike against this line. Also, whenever I hear this I imagine Pusha T standing over a stove adding a dash of salt to what he’s cooking in the pot.
