When Slaughterhouse confirmed their problems with E1 Entertainment, rumors of the New York-based group signing to Eminem’s Shady Records began to spread. After collaborative efforts with Em and several freestyles name-dropping the label, Joe Budden, Royce Da 5’9, Joel Ortiz & Crooked I were signed as Slaughterhouse to Shady Records in 2011. At the same time, Shady Records also required the latest talent out of Alabama, Yelawolf.
