While the reigning NBA Champion Miami Heat were at The White House helping Michelle Obama promote her fitness campaign, Let’s Move, Dwyane Wade got put on a poster.
Well, sort of. While Wade, head coach Erik Spoelstra, Ray Allen & Chris Bosh were conducting a makeshift interview, Lebron James and First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama had other plans. Taking advantage of the #DunkCam trend made popular by multiple social media platforms, FLOTUS and reigning NBA MVP Lebron James video-bombed James’ teammates with a highlight-worthy moment.
More importantly, Michelle Obama’s #LetsMove campaign has been instrumental in inspiring and assisting scores of young children, both in good, and not-so-good health, stay or get fit, and learn the importance of not only maintaining an appropriate weight, but eating healthy and maintaining good mental health. It’s a major issue that has been largely ignored by past administrations, and from the onset the Obamas have made it a priority. Kudos to them.
